The opening scene shows Snub throwing a rope over a tree limb and trying to hanged himself.
In one of his attempts a horse passes beneath him and Snub rides away.
Other scenes includes Snub peeking into the circus tent and getting into trouble.
He winds up in the circus and is part of some pretty spectacular acrobatics including a man holding a long pole and doing balancing acts with the pole bending and causing quite an unusual changing of position for the two actors.
