1920s Antique 16mm Film Home Movies Pasadena Family Party at Beach - 100 ft
Up for sale is a home movie from the 1920s.  It's 16mm Kodak film and is a 100 foot long reel.  The family's address in Pasadena in on the cover of the box--it's a lovely home built in 1925 that is still there.  The film box says the film expires in 1930 so my guess is this is late 1920s.  I got to watch the footage once when I had access to a projector.  I did take notes of what was on the film but it didn't occur to me to take a photo of the screen so I apologize there's no photo to help.  The box has "Pete's birthday party".  My notes say it begins with the family leaving the house.  Then the family is playing at the beach which is the main and best part of the footage and at the end of the reel is a little of a house in the woods.  It played well and all seems in very nice condition.  It's the Carr family of 559 McDonald Street in Pasadena, California
