22-inch Porcelain Bisque Veronica and her Bear by the beloved doll artist, Pauline Bjonness-Jacobsen, #77 from a limited edition of 950 collector dolls from 2001.Doll artist Pauline Bjonness-Jacobsen (1935-2006), had a doll making career of over 40 years. Her remarkable life began with an early detainment in a concentration camp in WWII Japanese occupied Dutch colony Djakarta (now Indonesia) where a doll played an important role in hiding her mother's wedding ring until they regained their freedom.

's flawless porcelain bisque head has lovely inset vavender glass eyes with real upper lashes, feathered eyebrows, blushed cheeks and light rose lip color. Her platinum blonde doll wig is very long.
Body: She has porcelain arms and legs and a poseable cloth body.
Clothing: Lovely print dress of lilac and blue butterfly wings; her organza collar has embroidered butterfly and a hand-smocked bodice.Her dress buttons in back. Underneath, she wears a cotton and tulle half-slip (elastic has lost its elasticity from age) and white pantaloons with lace edging (elastic is also stretched), white socks and slip-on shoes (shoes show wear)
Bear: Her 5-inch fuzzy lilac bear is fully-jointed.
She comes with her Certificate of authenticity. (does not have her original box.)
She is in excellent condition other than shoes and relaxed elastics on her outfit.
