    Description

    This is a wonderful whimsical example of an Antique 19th Century Carved Wood Nat / Male Figure from Burma (Myanmar).  This piece was acquired by my father during the period he was a Junior Foreign Service Officer stationed in the Consulate in Mandalay during the late 1950's.  Please review the pictures closely in regards to the overall condition of this Wood figure.  Please also review detailed Condition Description above & below.
    Condition Description: There is a crack down the midline of the figure going from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the figure's robe.  In addition both feet have been heavily repaired and there is glue residue on the feet as wells as the figure's upper right armhole - see attached pictures
    Figure Dimensions: 6 3/4 inches wide at the base (feet), 16 1/2 inches long with a depth of 3 1/2 inches.  Weight: 40.1 ounces (1136 grams / 2.5 pounds)
