    Description

    One a
    ntique lacquer betel container (Kun-it).  Should have two small lacquer trays inside but are missing.  Top features a Chinthe, a mythical animal which has a similar function to a Foo Dog.  Decorated with three different colors- red, yellow and black.  Early 20th Century.  Good condition- minor wear, tiny chips on top (see picture #2) and small chip on bottom edge (see picture #12).  Measures 4 3/8 inches tall and 3 inches across.  See my other Burmese lacquer pieces and Chinese and Japanese antiques.  Shipping will be by First Class mail-.50 including insurance.  Shipping price is calculated from California to the East Coast.  If shipping is lower you will be refunded the difference (if more than one dollar).
