Fans, collectors and lovers of vintage travel home movies may want to keep an eye on this approx. 800' reel of two couples visiting Paradise Beach in the Bahamas plus the husbands trip to Cody, Wyoming for a winter camping and hunting trip.
All footage filmed in 1954 and features beautiful color and good photography.
The Bahamas trip features a a propeller hydroplane in the water
with mechanic walking on the wings
. Of course gorgeous beach, hotel and pool scenes. A fishing trip and most interesting... pink flamingos being herded. So much more including great cars, boarding a United Airlines DC-7 Mainliner, black stallions in the water, outdoor markets and more.
The winter hunting trip in Cody Wyoming is most interesting as these guys venture high up the mountains in deep snow. A pack mule team, plus tent camping. Have to give these guys credit... rather adventurous trip.  Great town scenes as well.
Film is in great shape... very few and well adhered splices and comes mounted on a 800' metal reel. Only flaw would be the Bahama footage is reversed.
