Beautiful & Rare 40's-50's Retail Wine Display Item: Pommerelle Wine Lamp

Offered for sale is this great piece of American Wine history! It's a 1940/50's era in-store promotional, lighted advertiser promoting
Pommelle American Wine. Pommelle
was produced by The Pommelle Company, a winery producing apple and other fruit-based wine. The company was formed shortly after Repeal (1933), and they soon after merged with the ubiquitous
National Wine Co.
The company continues today under the
Chateau Ste. Michelle
name.
This item is produced of blow-moulded styrene of various colors, and is moulded to look like a bottle of
Pommelle
in a bucket of ice. The Paper wine label is complete, but is peeling away from the 'bottle' in a few places. The only blemishes to this piece is a hairline crack in the shoulder of the 'bottle' (which I have tried to show in the photos), and the electrical cord is missing its plug. Despite this, it is a VERY attractive piece, and in Very Good condition, especially in light of its age. With a gentle cleaning and a little restorative work to the label and small crack, it would be pristine.
This item would make an excellent addition to any wine cellar or mancave, and is a beautiful artifact to the Pacific Northwest's (and America's) early wine years. It will be carefully  wrapped in bubble wrap and other protective wrapping, and shipped USPS Priority with tracking. Please take a look at my other items.
