Burmese Kammavaca Buddhist Manuscript Cover Binding Board Set.
These come from a very high end home full of antiquities. They are from the 19th century.
They were mounted for display on a burnt orange velvet in the early 1970’s.
Each are beautifully lacquered in red with gold gilt.
Each overall size is 24”x 6 1/2”.
Binding boards measure 22 7/8”x 5 1/4”.
They are quite exceptional and would display well in any home. Please review all photos and feel free to ask questions.
