    This is a beautiful September 1967 playbill and souvenir program from the
    Original Broadway production of the DALE WASSERMAN, MITCH LEIGH and JOE DARION musical "MAN OF LA MANCHA" which played the ANTA Washington Square Theatre in New York City. (The production opened November 22nd, 1965 and ran for 2728 performances.) ..... Winner of five Tony Awards including "Best Musical", the show starred DAVID ATKINSON as "Don Quixote" and featured IRVING JACOBSON, RAY MIDDLETON, ROBERT ROUNSEVILLE and BERNICE MASSI and featured LAURENCE GUITTARD, MICHAEL VALE,
    TED FORLOW, DIANE BARTON, SHEV RODGERS and ELEANORE KNAPP

    The oversized 28 page program measures 9" X 12" inches and includes cast list, lyrics to several of the musical numbers, extensive text on the making of the musical and its historic source, photos and bios of each of the leading actors, photos of each member of the creative team and two pages of production photos from the show. Please note that with the exception of David Atkinson, the cast is different in the two publications ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light surface marks on the cover of the playbill and minor edge wear to the souvenir program, this set is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian
