Top quality fossil oyster.  This specimen seems quite robust, both heavy and dense.
It is nearly intact - just the tip of one end is missing a bit.
This fossil is not particularly fragile and is safe to hold and examine.
Approximate weight - 55 grams
Length approximately 2-1/2".
