Being offered is a complete 106 set as shown. Both the transceiver/exciter and the amplifier have been thoroughly gone through with all motors/servos cleaned and lubricated. All common issues that these sets are known for have been addressed and corrected. All contacts such as turret/stator etc. have been cleaned. Power output is to spec. This unit was tested on the air with great signal reports. Here is your chance to own a GRC-106 set that is plug and play with the goodies included!
We are listing this one a few hundred dollars less than the other one we have listed due to the fact that this one is a bit cosmetically challenged with a paint mismatch. You can save 300.00 and do the paint correction yourself!
In addition, a custom comprehensive close tuning chart was compiled and printed based on a 50 ohm load over a wide spectrum of frequencies. This chart is specific to this exact rig. This helps to take a lot of frustrating guesswork out of tuning up.
