.  The musical opened in NYC on 10/20/64 and ran for 568 performances
.  Inside are rehearsal photos, candid shots, production photos, caricatures of the company by Tony Walton, artwork by Morgan Harris and an article about Clifford Odets by Hillard Elkins.  The cast though, for the most part, not listed includes Sammy Davis Jr, Billy Daniels, Paula Wayne, Kenneth Tobey, Ted Beniades, Roy Glenn, Jeannette DuBois, Johnny Brown, Jaime Rogers, Louis Gossett, Charles Welch, Don Crabtree, Lola Falana, Theresa Merritt, Baayork Lee and Nat Horne.  Music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by Lee Adams and book by Clifford Odets and William Gibson (Gibson's name was dropped in NY) (based on the play by Clifford Odets).  Directed by Arthur Penn (replaced by Peter Coe in NYC) and choreographed by Donald McKayle.  The back cover is a painting of Davis by LeRoy Neiman.

Condition is near mint.

CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
