GORHAM'S Natalie is the 2nd in a series of 16" limited edition dolls commemorating favorite children of Christmas ~ Designed by Susan Stone Aiken ~ She is a vision of elegance from the top of her brunette banana curls to the tips of her leather shoes. A festive teal green underskirt complements her navy and red velveteen skating costume trimmed with maribou and embroidered lace. A matching navy velveteen hat completes her outfit. Natalie has an original Gorham hand painted, bisque porcelain face and handcrafted blue paperweight eyes. Inspired by Currier and Ives illustrations of winter skating scenes. Natalie carries her very own ice skates. Her 18 note musical movement plays "Silver Bells". Natalie wears a delicate silver plated snowflake bracelet which identifies all the dolls in the Children of Christmas Series. Gorham certifies that Natalie is issued in a limited edition of 1,500 each carefully made to the high quality standards of the Gorham Doll Collection. She is hall marked, dated and numbered in gold on the back of her neck.  I cannot see what her number is out of 1500   it is rubbed off and I do not have a wrist tag or a certificate with this doll.
