HUGE 6.5" Chesapecten Jeffersonius COMPLETE Fossil Scallop Pliocene (5-4mya)

Description

6.5+" Chesapecten Jeffersonius WHOLE fossil, complete as found with both halves intact!  This is the largest whole Jeffersonius that I've seen, and was harvested on the banks of the James River in Virginia.  This is the state fossil of Virginia, and was first named by Thomas Jefferson.  Fossil has been cleaned and prepped for display!
