This is a rare souvenir program from the Original French production of the production of the DALE WASSERMAN, MITCH LEIGH and JOE DARION musical "MAN OF LA MANCHA" at the Theatre Des Champs-Elysees in Paris, France. (The Original Broadway production opened November 22nd, 1965 at the ANTA Washington Square Theatre in New York City and ran for 2728 performances. The French production opened December 11th, 1968.) ..... The show starred the popular Belgian singer JACQUES BREL as "Don Quixote" and JOAN DIENER who originated the role of "Aldonza" in New York and featured ROBERT MANUEL, ARMAND MESTRAL, JEAN SALAMERO, JEAN-CLAUDE CALON, FERNANDO GRAHAL, LUIS BERNARDO, JEAN-LOUIS TRISTAN, VICTOR O'LEARY, JORGE LAGO, MANUEL NASCO, MICHEL JARRY, MAXIME CASA, GERARD CLAVEL, JOHN MacDONALD, PATRICK DESHAIS, MAX GUIGNETTE, JEAN-PIERRE SCANT and GERARD DAUZAT .....
