Please do not bid if you are not at all experienced using antique 8mm movies and are familiar with the fact that ALL 8mm film CAN potentially separate in a spliced area during viewing. It comes with the territory. I do not expect it to happen to you, but it is possible. This lot of STANDARD 8mm Film Reels has AMAZING amateur, home and travel videos including about >10 minutes of the historical 1953 Eisenhower Inaugural Parade which includes a brief, but very cool capture of Eisenhower in his famous white car waving, Secret Service, floats, bands, horses, airplane ride looking at storm damage, and even a few seconds of the Zephyr Blimp. The Eisenhower inauguration parade (~10 minutes total) is spliced into two reels that also include travel videos like DC, Yellowstone (bubbly cauldrons), mountains and cliffs filmed from a moving car, Giant trees forest, numerous amazing old CARS, Small Towns, picnics, snow storm, family at lake, and much more. (You never know where you're going to next) The movies with Eisenhower and national park travel (6) are a better quality but there was 1 separation during viewing at a spliced area which was repaired using 8mm splicing tape and holds up great for re-review. 3 of the other reels, which are from the 60s/70s, had 2 separations. I viewed these and took pictures using a hand viewer, not a projector. day!...wanted to add that there is at least one small town parade in there so when you watch them you dont think that i thought they were the DC one. :-) The glare in my pictures on this listing are from the light of a film hand viewer, not the film.
