  • Condition: Looks to be in great shape. I don't have a projector to play it on but the film is clean and not brittle. I ran one of the films through a machine that captures images. I believe the film is clearer than the images the machine captured.

    Up for auction is an awesome estate sale find: 30 old 8mm film/home movies from a family that traveled extensively in the U.S. and around the world from the 1950s to the 1970s. I don't have a projector but do have a machine that you can slide the film through and capture images and I caught a couple from the 1958 Canada trip.
    Here is what's written on some of the canisters:

    Neat films
    with a great
    low opening bid. Wish I had a projector to play them.
    These will be quite heavy: around 23 pounds or so. I'll ship however you prefer but the cost will vary depending on location. I assume these can go media mail. The films will be well packed with bubblewrap.
