Lot of 5 (plus 1) Vintage Metal 8mm Reel & Case 5”
With News Reels and Old Family Films
All reels and cases are metal and in good condition. Please note that the metal canisters may have tape, labels, smudges, scratches and rust. These 8mm films themselves are nearly 80 years old and some of the outer film ends have warping (see pictures). The film may also include a chemical smell from degradation and some sections may be fused or stuck together. (again, be sure to look carefully at the pictures of each individual reel)
I am advertising this lot as 5 reels, although you will receive 6. The last photo is a close up of the film called "Old Time Comedies". It seems that the center third of the film is definitely fused together, although the outer two thirds of the film seems intact, wrapped just like all of the other films.
NOTE: Do not purchase this item if this fused film on this one reel is an issue for you. I don't want to receive bad feedback on the condition of this single reel. Bid as though you were bidding on just five 8mm reels. Thank you.
