Madame Alexander's “Pocahontas” Cissy is from the 2003 collection.  Doug James, the artist, was focusing his designs on important American women.  Here is “Pocahontas” dressed to see King James in English Court attire.  She wears a deep purple silk gown accented with gold trim, orange over-robe with gold trim, white lace collar, white lace and black headpiece, hoop petticoat, black shoes with rhinestone accent and gold heels, gold ring, and earrings.  Included is her gift of a peace pipe.  2003 LE200 COA/NRFB
