Military Radio VRC 12, RT524 vehicular Radio

Description

Auction is for a VRC 12 family, RT 524 US military  radio. Cabinet has been gutted of the orginal equipment and a new face plate fabricated to hold a ICOM IC -2100 VHF 2 meter transceiver and a GE 40 channel CB Transceiver. It includes the Microphone for the ICOM but the microphone for the CB is missing. It does have a built in speaker from the orginal radio. It will mount in a military standard vehicle mount. There are power wires that should be hooked up to 12 volts to operate. There are no manuals with the auction. To Transmit the ICOM you must have a Amateur Ham license. It was used in a restored military JEEP. A mag mount quarter wave VHF antenna is included with the auction. The Canvas cover included does Not quite fit the RT524 but can be modified for use.
