This 4.25” round braiding disk from Beadsmith is made from 3/8” dense foam and creates a lovely rounded braid.
Kumihimo is the ancient art of Japanese braiding.
There are many different styles of braids that can be woven, in a multitude of different colours and combinations.
Allows you to create different types of strands according to the number of threads used. You can use any type of wire, for example : - the queue of mouse - strands of leather - metal wires (brass…) - lane - Belts - raffia - bands of fabric… Also convenient as the basis for threading beads.
Kumihimo is very easy to learn and appeals to project makers
With a Kumihimo braiding disk you’ll be able to create beautiful braided projects quickly.
