QRP, BC-221-Q, Signal Corps, WW2 ex- Frequency Meter, HF

I have converted my old BC-221 Frequency Meter into a Ruggedized  QRP transceiver.
The BC-221 was the primary frequency standard in WW2 for all communications. They were on ships, aircraft and on the ground.

It looks like a real BC-221
but It has a  '1 Watter'  inside driving a Pacific Antenna, 10 Watt amplifier. It is has a Low power/High power switch. It is operating Class C.
The CW keyer inside uses the ATmel AVR Microprocessor as an
Iambic-Mode-B Keyer (
ATtiny45 chip).
On power-Up, the keyer defaults to 15 WPM and a sidetone of 625 Hz and annunciates "1W".
It has more computing power than the Apollo 13 Moon Lander.
The Frequency range is about 7020 to 7038 kHz, CW Only.
It has a calibration book showing the dial to actual operating frequency,
It has a wide and narrow CW filter switch. The CW filter is the 4 State QRP HI-PER-MITE, 200Hz at 3 dB.
All the schematics are on line and all the internal sub-assemblies are easy to repair.
It comes with a 6 cell (26650) LiIon battery at 12V that lasts forever, 6AH, and includes a battery charger. The rear battery compartment hinge is broken but it 'press fits' into place fine.
It weighs about 15 pounds.  10" x 10" x 13". i contacted Japan (JA1NUT) on this radio.
It has a speaker,
and a CW Keyer.
It does not have a Hand Key, Head phones or antenna tuner. The
Hand Key and Head phones shown
in the photo have been sold separately and do not come with the BC221.
