.  The musical opened in NYC on 11/16/59 and ran for 1443 performances.  The cover features the wedding scene from the show.  Inside are production photos, headshot photos, bios, synopsis, scene synopsis, musical numbers list and critics' quotes.  The cast includes Barbara Meister, John Myhers, Beatrice Krebs, Jack Collins, Marthe Errolle, Helen Noyes, Jane Zachary, Reid Klein, Graziella Polacco, Jeanne Shea, Karen Ford and Jack LeGrand.  Music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein and book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse (suggested by The Trapp Family Singers by Maria Augusta Trapp).  Directed by Vincent J. Donehue and choreographed by Joe Layton.  The program is complete.

Condition is near mint.
CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
