.  The musical opened in NYC on 11/16/59 and ran for 1443 performances.  The cover features the wedding scene from the show.  Inside are production photos, headshot photos, bios, career photos of Florence Henderson, synopsis, scene synopsis, musical numbers list, critics' quotes and an interesting photo of Florence Henderson with the creative team (actually, the original photo was Mary Martin with the creative team so Florence Henderson's head is super imposed over Mary Martin's *see last scan).  The cast includes Florence Henderson, John Myhers, Beatrice Krebs, Jack Collins, Lynn Brinker, Jane Rose, Imelda DeMartin, Peter van Hattum, Graziella Polacco, Grace Olsen, Karen Ford and Jay Velie.  Music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein and book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse (suggested by The Trapp Family Singers by Maria Augusta Trapp).  Directed by Vincent J. Donehue and choreographed by Joe Layton.  The program is complete.

Condition is near excellent with minor wear.
CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
