    Description

    This is an attractive, heavy silver fruit bowl from "The SS United States Liner". The SSUS signature "Manhattan" pattern is very crisp, and appears around the base, as well as the upper rim. This silver fruit bowl was made expressly for "United States Lines" by "The Gorham Silver Company", which is stamped on the bottom along with...United States Lines. There are no dings or dents. This item was originally purchased at the 1984 SSUS at auction in Norfolk, Virginia.
