SS UNITED STATES LINES Large Trophy / 1968 Easter Cruise / Top Condition

This is an impressive looking, mid-century trophy from "The SS United States Liner". The insignia plague states..(9) Day Easter Cruise from New York, April 6, 1968 To: Panama, Curacao & St. Thomas. This piece measures...13" tall, and is still in top condition. The body is made of  a marbleized material, and both figurines are composed of the retro solid-plated metal, not hollow plastic. This attractive 1968 trophy would have been presented to some sort of onboard tournament winner in 1968 during one of the "Big U" world cruises. I located and purchased a large box of good quality tournament trophy's from the "Big U" in 1984. These were presented for a variety of deck games such as...Deck Tennis, Ping Pong, Shuffleboard, Deck Golf, Bullboard, Quotes, Bridge & Canasta.
