SS UNITED STATES LINES Silver Nut Tray / Gorham / Top Condition

This is a rare silver nut tray from "The SS United States Liner". This piece was made expressly for the "Big U" by "The Gorham Silver Company, which is stamped on the bottom along with..."United States Lines". I've only owned two of these SSUS silver nut trays over the past 35 years. This item was purchased at the 1984 SSUS at auction in Norfolk, Virginia.
