This is a 10" silver platter & dome combo from "The S.S. United States Liner". Condition is what makes my SS United States items stand out from the rest. As the photo's reflect, the overall
condition is excellent, and was originally manufactured by..."The International Silver Company". It is stamped...Made Expressly for U.S. Lines / "International Silver Company" on the bottom. The signature SSUS "Manhattan" pattern is very crisp on both pieces, located around the base, outer rim, and handle. This is considered by SSUS collectors to be one of the premier silver sets to own. This attractive platter combo was originally purchased at the 1984 SSUS at auction in Norfolk, Virginia.
