SS UNITED STATES LINES Silver Supreme Orange Juice Stand / Good Condition

This is a silver supreme orange juice stand from "The SS United States Liner". It measures...5 1/2" tall, and is in good condition. This comes complete with the ornate silver collar. Shredded ice is placed around the juice glass under the collar . The SSUS signature "Manhattan" pattern encircles the base, and was made expressly for "United States Lines" by "The International Silver Company", which are both stamped on the bottom. Unlike this piece, over 90% of all supreme stands were badly beat, bent, and banged-up by the ship's steward department. This item was purchased at the 1984 SSUS at auction in Norfolk, Virginia.
