    This is a USL-52 silver fruit basket from "The SS United States Liner". The SSUS signature "Manhattan" pattern appears around the base, rim, and handle. This silver fruit basket was made expressly for "United States Lines" by "The International Silver Company", which is stamped on the bottom along with...USL-52. This item was purchased at the 1984 SSUS at auction in Norfolk, Virginia.
