Three Eocene archiaci Senegal Africa Fossil Shell Gryphaea Oyster Bivalve

Description

Here are three relatively rare Eocene Pycnodonte arciaci shells from hard locality from which to obtain specimens, Senegal, Africa. The largest measures nearly 2 inches at its longest axis. These are unprepped.  They show some wear from exposure but are generally in very nice shape for specimens coming from this rare locality. One has a partial bottom valve and the largest may have one embedded in the matrix. Two still have collector tags on them. Please review the photos as they are a part of the description and show the actual items you will receive.
