  • Condition: Show ordinary use and the data plate area is lightly oversprayed with paint that should be able to be removed with a mild solvent (see photos). Looks good inside however all of the tubes are missing. Stored for years in an unheated aircraft hangar and is sold as pictured, untested, and as is.

    Description

    Vintage USGI USAF 1950's RT-159B/URC-4 rescue bail out pilot's hand held radio in fair to good physical condition.  Requires an external battery pack (not included) and covers 121.5 and 243.0 MHz.  Good shape but the data plate area is lightly oversprayed with paint (possibly part of the surplus/scrap process) and all of the tubes are missing.   Stored for years in an unheated aircraft hangar and is sold untested, as pictured, and AS IS and cannot be returned.
