“Orchidea Veca”
An original model by the artist Giorgio Arvati, hand-made at La Fucina dei Miracoli, Italy.
This mask created from paper-mache
in accordance with age old Venetian techniques
, painted and decorated completely by hand.
It is a beautiful mask that blends Swarovski crystals with black and silver leaves of silk and velour.  I have not found another like it.
It is unique in comparison to all other Venetian masks on the market.  It is a very rare example of Venetian artisanship at its best and is s
upplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.  It is in very good condition, but after 27 years, there is a slight separation of the black velour leaves from their black silk backing.
