Vintage 1960's Advertising KODAC Kodachrome II Film in Lucite Paperweight Cube

This auction is for a rare vintage 1960's
desk top piece with a wooden sample of the
Kodachrome II
embalmed inside a transparent polyester cube casting.
Issued by Kodak to their clients & representatives as an advertising & promotion piece.
The Kodachrome II was released by Kodak in 1961 with sharper images and faster speeds at 25 ASA. In 1974, with the transition to the K-14 process, Kodachrome II was replaced by Kodachrome 25 and Kodachrome 64, so this piece can be dated to 1961-1974.
This cube can function as a paperweight or set on your display shelf with your vintage photography & camera collection.

In semi-good shape with damage to the base: some chips on the corners and two cutting lines (please see the photos) but these blemishes do not detracts from its historical importance.

Priority Mail

In the case of lost or damaged items, Registered Airmail covers compensation for the item value & postage costs up to 0 maximum.  Higher levels of compensation are included only in the
EMS
services.
It takes up to 3 or more weeks for delivery. Sometimes postal service is getting slower especially at weekends and holiday. Occasionally there may be delays because of extra security checks at the post office.
