Vintage Burmese Bamboo Round Sectioned Box w/Lacquer Overlay

Description

Vintage Burmese bamboo round box with lacquer overlay. Box was used to offer delicasies such as pickled tea leaves to guests. Often used in ceremonial situations. Box is a rust/reddish brown color with tan and sage green designs on top. Inside are 7 separate removable sections. It's in excellent condition and measures 8 inches in diameter x 2 inches high. Sticker is still attached to the bottom from the Walters Art Gallery.
