    Description

    Largest steamer ship built by the U.S. at its time. It ran the New York to Hamburg route until 1939, then to Italy until War was declared. In 1941 it was taken over by the Navy and used as a troop carrier. After the war it continued being a cruise ship but was eventually scrapped in 1965...
