Such a cool piece!  this is a large, hand carved wood
Thai or Burmese Kannara/Kannari spirit/deity
.  Sometimes you may see this referred to as a
Nat spirit
.
this is in pre-owned, vintage condition and has some small imperfections throughout (crack of wood on back wing, broken off wing tip (see photos).  Please view all pictures carefully for best idea of condition.
The
Kinnari spirit is considered to be half human, half bird.  the carving on this one is pretty nice.  the front is fully three dimensional, the back is mainly flat.  it is attached to a wooden stand and its size gives it such a nice presence.  So cool!
